Announcing Sketch Club!
Starting February 28th, you can join fellow artists on Saturday mornings for a creative refresh in a welcoming, lighthearted environment.
You’ll have the option of being inside, in a spacious, light-filled space with access to a full kitchen, or outside under a covered pavilion.
You can bring a project you’d like to work on, sketch from provided still lifes, or work plein aire.
These mini-retreats are located right here in West Knox, in a 20+ acre bucolic setting with fields and woods, on the Tennessee River.
All levels are welcome and no experience is needed.

THE SETTING
These mini-retreats are conveniently located in West Knox, in a 20+ acre pastoral setting with fields, woods, lake access, and a modern office.
You can create indoors, in a bright, airy space or outside under a covered pavilion.
Or, if you’d love some quiet time on the water, you can walk down a wooded trail to a dock on the Tennessee River.
THE SUPPLIES
From colored pencils to coloring pages, from paints to high-quality paper, we’ve got you covered! We’ll have art supplies on hand, or you’re welcome to bring your own.

Sketch Club is lead by Cordelia and Sally, two working artists who foster a friendly, inclusive community. As parents and business owners, we know the challenges of maintaining a creative practice in the midst of the chaos. We started Sketch Club to provide a respite from day-to-day demands and create a peaceful, nurturing space.
Sketch Club how to’s
Step 1
Sign up (on this page above:) or text Cordelia at 865 292 8973 to save your spot. Sketch Club is limited to 12 participants per session.
Once you sign up, we’ll save your spot and send you the address. You can pay via venmo or at the door.
Step 2
Just show up! We got you covered with art supplies, snacks, and a lovely, peaceful setting.
Schedule
10am: We’ll kick off with a quick welcome and introduction, followed by a sketching warm up
10:15-11:45am: Your time to create!
11:45am: Share what you made, clean up
