The University of North Carolina Wilmington’s Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship developed ALL BLUE, an innovative economic hub to help establish SE North Carolina as a national leader in the rapidly-growing Blue Economy. ALL BLUE brings together entrepreneurs, scientists, faculty, and various specialists working to develop the region as a technology innovator, attracting and growing start-ups, and adding thousands of new jobs in the Blue Economy.
ALL BLUE is accelerating the emerging knowledge-based economic model for the Cape Fear region by attracting, advising, and launching businesses in the keys sectors of our region’s blue economy:

As a founding member of ALL BLUE, I’ve contributed the following strategy and design services:
>> Lead strategic sessions to develop the ALL BLUE name
>> Lead strategic sessions to develop the ALL BLUE name
>> Designed the organization’s logo with a number of strategic considerations in mind, including the organization’s goals, core audiences/personas, and key competitors.
>> Partnered with an expert copywriter to develop the brand voice and create content for the organization’s landing page.
>> Art directed photo shoots around the region to provide original, on target images to tell the story of ALL BLUE.
>> Wireframed and designed the site allbluenc.org
>> Designed presentations delivered to the County Commission, City Council, and Wilmington’s Mayor Bill Saffo
>> Managed a talented developer to realize the site in time for a successful funding pitch
>> Helped plan numerous events and worked with partnering organizations and stakeholders across the region
>> Designed a pop-up trade show exhibit and helped staff the event
